Online Options
Do you know EGSC offers many online courses, as well as an online associate degree and a bachelor’s degree program? The degree programs consist of an Associate of Science in Financial Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. EGSC utilizes Brightspace by Desire2Learn as its Learning Management System (LMS), also known as GeorgiaVIEW as well as eCore through the University System (USG), so the online learning experience is similar at all University System of Georgia colleges and universities. Online courses are a great way to take the initial step toward your future and educational experience. So, if you are ready for online learning, come join the Bobcat Nation for a class or two and stay for a while.

Studies show that state college students who transfer to a four-year university do as well or better, grade-wise, as students who took their core courses directly from a university. EGSC offers the same freshman and sophomore classes as four-year universities at about one-half the cost. Our classes are designed to transfer seamlessly to four-year colleges and universities.
Locations
Whether at our main campus in Swainsboro or at our external campuses in Statesboro and Augusta, East Georgia State College provides the academic experience to prepare you for the career that’s right for you.
At EGSC-Statesboro, students have access to EGSC and Georgia Southern University (GS) resources with the Statesboro campus being located near the GS campus. Similarly, EGSC-Augusta students have access to EGSC and Augusta University (AU) resources with the EGSC-Augusta campus being located on AU’s Summerville campus.
While experiencing lower tuition costs and individualized attention from faculty at East Georgia, you can immerse yourself in the social and extracurricular life at Georgia Southern or Augusta University: truly the best of both worlds. Completing your general education classes in 2 years at EGSC then transferring to a university to complete your 2 years of major classes and graduate is the pathway to success! Major courses are typically small in class size, so the transition from EGSC will be much easier than starting out at the university level.
